Our story

Why we made these

We started making bedding because we could not find what we wanted. The sets with designs we liked were made from thin, slippery cloth. The ones made from good cloth came in prints we did not want to see every morning.

Percale is a plain weave, tightly woven, cool and dry against the skin. Ours is 250 thread count, which is normal for percale woven from long, single-ply yarn. The four-figure counts on other labels are not a measure of quality: they come from thin threads twisted together and counted more than once, and they make a heavier sheet that sleeps warm.

The florals are small and low-contrast, so they stay calm across a whole bed. All of it is woven and finished by mills we deal with directly, in the town Faith grew up in. That is how we can put piped edges, hidden closures and labelled sheets on a $225 queen set.
